Xenogears fans, help me out...

Any idea what a rough completion time might be for a first play through?

you're looking at a 60ish hour game.

60hrs seems about right for Xenogears give or take a few hours based on how much you grind/sidequests. The first disc will take you a good 40 hrs and 15-20hrs for the second disc. I warn you though, second disc is EXTREMELY disappointing especially after how epic the first disc is.

I think in Xenogears' case, "disappointing" and "could have been..." are two completely different things. By the end of it, you're still getting about ~50 hours worth of one heck of an epic. The second disc was obviously rushed and doesn't tap into the potential that was there (thanks a lot FFVIII, if the rumors are true... ugh lol), but yeah. It doesn't bring the game down for me at all or anything.

Basically it's already AMAZING, and could have just been better than better if everything went through as planned.
