Anyway, I'd have to say Chrono Trigger. Unlike FFVI, I've actually beaten CT, and the game encourages multiple playthroughs thanks to its New Game + and multiple endings.

Plus I always love a good time-travel plot.

Personally, the two games are inseparable in my mind. I don't think I could stand to own one without the other.

Final Fantasy VI hands down. The characters are much more engaging, the drama and the funny scenes are more to my taste, and the character design is still original (I love how a professional artist like Toriyama couldn't make any different character designs for the game and he just remade the Dragonball characters with different hair colors....heck he even remade half of the characters).

Also the music, GOD THAT SOUNDTRACK IS A MASTERPIECE.

Chrono Trigger for the replayability, and because it's more interesting all 'round than FF6.

FF4 has my favourite story between 4, 5 & 6. Cecil's story is simply more relatable than Terra's I guess.
