J T, you haven't favorited any of those, have you? When I click the "Friends' Favorites" link, NEStalgia is the only game that shows up.

I've favorited 20 games so far, but my top picks are:

Wyv and Keep

No Time To Explain

DLC Quest

Radical Roach

Out There Somewhere

Incredipede

Waking Mars

Kairo

New Jane Jensen game?! Well... she certainly knows how to tell awesome stories! The Gabriel Knight games were some of Sierra's best. I will be watching that one.

Hey MJ, the Gray Matter game isn't new, you can get it on Amazon Digital Download or a physical copy now if you like. This is to get the game released on Steam.

I don't know. After Steam and I had our little falling out, I haven't spent much time with the service, so I haven't explored all the new community features. I decided to go vote up some greenlight games and that's about it.

McPixel was the first game to be released via Steam Greenlight. This is added to the fact that it is the first game to be officially endorsed by The Pirate Bay.

It's kind of a crap game, so I find that sad. I mean, the game is good for a cheap laugh, but there are so many more indie titles out there that are more deserving of all this free publicity.

There was nothing appealing about this game at all. I actually had downvoted it.

What I like about McPixel is that its humor is based in the fact that the puzzles are all completely illogical and the most daft solution is often the correct one. It's kind of funny and it makes it so death is as valued as success within the game. That's a nice change of pace from the norm, but I usually find trial & error puzzle design to be sloppy game design, and the whole "death is part of the fun" isn't a new idea since Dragon's Lair did it back in the 80s.
