That's rough man. If it were me I'd go ahead and start putting applications in with other places you might consider a decent place to work just to keep your options at this time while your company makes changes. You're more likely to settle for something you don't really want when you are completely out of a job. It's best to start a job hunt while your basic needs are still be met with a regular pay check.

Its scary but sometimes being forced to change jobs can be the best thing that has ever happened to you. I speak from experience with regards to this.
