Edit: Also--

Power, commercial success and RPGs: PS2
Visual quality, quality of games, accessories and overall fun: Dreamcast
I was thinking the same thing.

These threads make ME facepalm.
Especially the NES one. Also- how is this a question? The dreamcast failed so hard that the PS2 slaughtered it then stomped on its body then spit in its general direction.

Lol, the site is having some technical issues right now and it's not just the common user that's dealing with it.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I tried telling him that. The NES forum was suppose to be a discussion about all things NES but it got ruined once that sarcastic comment rolled in. This thread is stupid and is as simple as a hadouken into the Dreamcast's disk drive from the PS2.

I'm getting a bit aggravated at how Jack will start these threads, then never keep any conversation going or put in any feedback. Also, this is an odd question. I always saw the fight being Gamecube/PS2/Xbox, with the Dreamcast doing its own thing.

Wrong section of the forum, Jack-O.

But, in my opinion, between the PS2 and the DC... neither. Both have one critical flow; there is no Hu-Card slot. Don't waste your money on either.

From a fanboy perspective, I prefer the DC. It's much "cooler" as well. But, in reality, the PS2 is the best console ever due to game selection and PS1 compatibility. Seriously, it even beats the Saturn and PC Engine in shoot 'em up selection.

The PS2 has the best library ever in just about every genre except FPS's and RPG's. It was inevitable given the very long lifespan and having the largest user base ever.

I also tell him that he needs to keep up with the forums but he never listens.

The Dreamcast could deliver cleaner, sharper and more colorful images.

But the Playstation 2 had a lot more graphical and raw processing power.
