Is there any store that still sells New PS2s?

My local Best Buy has been selling them for $59.99. They didn't seem to flying off the shelves, they still had a couple when I was in there the other week. If you have a Best Buy around you might try giving them a call or stopping in. It's not something I've seen them advertise or make a big deal over, but they do seem to be clearing them out.
Not sure if Futureshop is doing the same, but they are the Canadian arm of the company AFAIK.

Found it! Sony Store still sells them. But no silver or white. I called them, they still have stock for $99. Yayyy

Yup! The Sony store a few cities down from me has a lot in PS2's in stock for $99. Considering I got 2 brand new PS2's at Target last year for half the price Sony store is asking for, i'd say they are pretty expensive considering the amount of stock they have of a discontinued system.

PS1s at wal-mart? That's impressive. I wish they still had PS1 games at mine, but it's full of budget PS2 racers priced at $30 and some Baten Kaitos games for $50.

I probably should pick up another PS2 while I can. The PS2 is one of my all time favorite systems, so it might be prudent to have a backup in case something happens to mine. Though it's 10 years old and still runs fine

I dont have any games currently on my mind that I want to play on ps2(I never owned one) , but I dont see how it hurts to buy a brand new one in 2012 for $100 .

PS2 must be the only console that kept selling brand new while the next generation lifetime is about to die...(Who was buying brand new SNES in 2000?)

Walmart has restocked PS2's. If anyone is looking for one, they have em online too. No silver ones though :/
