King of the Hill, Futurama, American Dad.

American Dad generally seems to pull out better stuff by trying a bit harder. McFarlane knows it is the less prefered of the two, and makes it better because of this, methinks. That, and the humor doesn't rely on flashbacks to jokes that only select people in the audience will get. Sometimes I get them, the rest of them leave me wondering who the fuck the last person referenced was.
