License Transfer on the XBox 360 is a NIGHTMARE STILL!!

Damn, this does sound like a nightmare. You'd think it would be easy, just provide a name and address, shit, provide your last four if you have to. I know I'd be pretty pissed.

Thing is, the XBL people don't keep the passwords on their server so they have no way to reset them. They said to call MSN, so I called MSN and they wouldn't help me because I don't have a paid MSN account.

Have you tried going from the other way around and recreate the email address? Resetting an MSN (and in turn XBL) password is quite simple if you can receive the "reset password" email (or have set up a textable phone number for that option I guess). If, for example, it was a college email address that got disabled after graduation, some are now issuing GMail addresses that appear to be .edu addresses.

Yea... I couldn't transfer crap either. Sucked. I lost a lot of good movies. Xbox Live support isn't that great at helping out either. OP, let us know if you find a solution. I still have my old Brickbox 360 in my closet just incase I figure out how to do it.

Tell me about it...I am on my 5th 360 due to the ol' Red Ring problem. I was able to transfer everything over just fine but can't play any of the games I downloaded unless I am connected to the internet. I travel A LOT so this pretty much makes those games useless. I'm done buying digitally. That's a whole other can of worms though.
