This is a silly thread. No clue why high prices would upset someone.

Don't like the price, simply don't buy it. And if you were selling something for $300, and someone offered you $20, you'd also give them a fart face.

I just stating out that people think that they buy something and they think they are going to get full price after 10 years or so. I just was asking other people on this site how they feel and if they had ever seen stuff like that before. Don't get mad its sunday and its 80 outside. Go swimming like I am in a few minutes. Value is in the eye of the buyer, price is variable depending on the seller. I spent years of my life studying pricing theories, but it all boils down to you can sell anything at any price if there is an interested buyer.

No reason to hate a seller if you don't like the price.

Cool I wasn't trying to get u mad luke. If she want's to sell the 64 for that price it's cool but I was metoning that story today because I see that all the time that's all. I do laugh at the vga on ebay though. You must find that a little funny on prices

Sometimes it's best to just nod, smile and go on your way. It's their time and money wrapped in the games, system, table fee and gas. Maybe one day they'll wake up and realize they've priced themselves out of existence.

I don't think most sellers for this kind of stuff, like at flea markets or on ebay, actually understand that what makes you money is throughput, rather than nickel and dimes.

If you put out a table and everything on it is overpriced stuff ... no one is going to buy it ... and even if someone pays $500 or something for that item the seller says is rare ... they're likely losing money just from having a table there to sell that one thing.

While it is annoying ... especially on eBay, since it sort of skews the entire market ... it's something I try to ignore and move on. Maybe make some jokes with friends about it.
