I know that's for the Lite version, but compatibility is similar.

That compatibility list should still be accurate since crediar, the creator of DIOS MIOS, said...
DM has the same compatibility as the current DML version, of course the reads are much faster
Though with my experience there have been small issues that are exclusive to DIOS MIOS. Such as some games that didn't need a random disk in the drive to start with DML and now need one with DM. However those issues should be ironed out in due time.

I use a USB HDD with my Wii. It is formatted in WBFS. How can I get my GC games onto such a drive?

WBFS is old tech. You need to use FAT32 for DIOS MIOS. So I recommend you formatting your drive and then reinstalling your Wii games using WBFS files on FAT32.

Bad idea!
I agree that you should make the swap to FAT32 but there's is a much more practical way to do it. Just follow this guide on GBAtemp and it will tell you how to swap the file system from WBFS to FAT32 without losing your games/data.

How does that affect compatibility of games though with the 4GB file limit?

Wii backup manager knows how to split the file up into multiple chunks.

Hi people I'm loving this DIOS MIOS stuff - can anyone let me know how to create a multidisc iso for this? I'm thinking Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes for example so that there's one file on the backup loader as opposed to two

The Multidisc programs all create a single file, but it doesn't get read correctly through the backup loader and reverts to GCOS as if it expects a backup disc.

Thanks!
Systems: PS3, XBox360, Wii-U, New 3DS XL, DC, oXBox, GC (w/GB Player), PSP, DS, GBA, SNES, Megadrive, GB

Holy awesomeness. I'm reading this at work and I now I cannot wait to try this out when I get home! I've been waiting a really long time for this. (Since I was an idiot and sold my old wii that could read burned discs, and got a new one that sadly cannot)
