I've played up to level 4 before Borderlands 2 came and hit me for looking at other games. So far there hasn't been much iteration on the formula since Torchlight 1. The biggest thing I've seen is the addition of the charge system, where basic attacks build a bar, and you can expend some of that bar on certain skills to buff them (and by can, I mean that if you have enough it automatically uses it). They even stole the story setup from Diablo 2 (oh look, oine of the previous adventurers is evil now from what was in the dungeon). I'm not sure this is going to grip me.

I'm disappointed (but not surprised) with the lack of complete respecs. I think that was one of the things that D3 got right, from a design perspective I really agree with David Sirlin on that one. But I haven't played Torchlight 1 or D3 yet, so...

I've been really enjoying it, but I have found the story to be completely forgettable. For me that's ok with this game. To me it's all about the loot.

I haven't touched it and won't for some time. Too busy with Borderlands 2 and still need to finish New Vegas.

As one of the few games I can run on my laptop, I've been enjoying the hell outta TL2. Everything I could have dreamed a sequel to the great TL could be and more. Though, strangely, I miss some of the dungeon-y levels.... I play online alot so if you see a game entitled "Harmonator's game!" drop on by! Chances are the password is "ro2" but I didn't tell you :)

Ive been playing this game for a while. I find it easier to get into and learn over Diablo 3. Could just be me, but the whole feel of it feels a lot lighter than D3. Having a pet with you helps no end. Online while fun, isnt something I do a lot of. I kind of gave up on D3 after the end of Chapter 3, where as this, I seem to play more.

This being said, I havent touched it since the new update came out. I should really get back to it now I think about it!
