You know, I think listening to this stuff has given me a pretty big itch to try and attain a (almost) complete NES set myself. You guys do a pretty good job demonstrating the fact that collecting in itself can be a very fun and rewarding thing.

It's a lofty goal, but one that is a lot of fun to shoot for. I'm almost done with mine (although getting these last few is taking some time). You can find a large majority of the set for reasonable prices, and if you know to pick up dupes you can trade/flip easily it makes it much easier. Some of us over on RF Gen also keep a list of what each other needs so we can hunt for each other while we are out. It works really well.
