Did anyone ever end up playing this? I'm really hoping that Operation Arrowhead drops in price when the summer sale starts. Next time it does, I'm buying it.

I got it to work a few times, but it doesnt run very well on my machine. I bought it from Amazon and would gladly sell my keys if someone wants them (and has access to the installs).

I'd get it, though not sure how it would run, nor how good it would play with a controller. If I remember correctly, its also still like $30.

Probably horrible on both counts.

@billy can I ask what your specs are? I think it would probably kick my computer in the face, too. I need to update my mobo/processor pretty direly.

ArmA is about as far removed from TF2 as any first-person shooter could possibly be.

I'm looking at this... and my only thought is "FUCK THAT!" I mean, it seems odd that this is listed as controller compatible, seeing as you need an insane amount of buttons to work it.

Sorry for the delay Sabrage, my pc is a q6600 at 3ghz, 4 gigs of ram, and a 9600gt. I am due for an update eventually, but I can play the game on medium settings fine, until nightfall. The intense shadows made me start chunking badly.

I can play most games I am interested in with no problem, except this one. Granted me and Operation Flashpoint games always end this way. And you could probably play DayZ with a controller, it would just be a painful experience. Its not a twitch game, it is shadow games. Hide in the trees, run out when its clear, try not to die.

No worries Billy, I actually own ArmA 2 so I could've found out for myself if I was really curious. My processor is an e6750 @ 2.66GHz, but my graphics card is a much newer HD6850 so I'm guessing I'd get similar performance unless ArmA is incredibly CPU-dependent (not that that would surprise me)
