Thanks for the info. I'm buying a dreamcast. I'm going to keep the psone/w screen. I just picked up a few fighter's but my money is going into the dreamcast. I will be going to the flea markets on sunday. I m sure I can find a bundle really cheap.

Honestly, I think Capcom vs SNK Pro is virtually identical on the PS1 and DC. The graphics and loading times seem exactly the same to me.
What the fuck!? What game have you been playing!? CVSpro on DC is MILES ahead from the PS1 port in just about every form imaginable! Loading times the same!? Sorry dude, there is no "Now Loading" screen after every round on DC! and there's no "Now Loading" character portarait screen before and after every match. And the graphics on PS1 are shit! Everything has been low res'd and there's animation cuts everywhere!

I agree with the above statement.

the only thing the PS1 version has over the DC is the extra characters on the ps1 game.

Dan and Joe. Yes, if you're comparing CVSpro (PS1) to CVS1(DC). I'm comparing it to DC import version CVSpro. Even so, 2 joke characters (and higashi is a joke in this game with one worthless super and only 3 specials in his arsenal so don't get it twisted) are not worthwhile additions when the entire product smells of a quick cash grab.

I concur; comparing PS1 to DC fighters is ridiculous.

Between the 2D fighters that the consoles share, the only fighters at the top of my head that the PS1 comes decently close to matching is Jojo's and Alpha 3, and even the latter had to cut frames of animation, keep its needed loading screens between matches and change all hit effects from its standard sprites to 3D polys!

Well I came back from the flea market and I did not find a dreamcat for cheap. People was charging 40-50.00 for a system. I did pick up some great psone titles though. Street fighter ex plus a, tony hawk 2, syphon filter, road rash 3d, tekken 3, mk trilogy, digimon world 2 and 3, wwf smackdown 1 and 2, frogger, and aliens vs predator for ps3. All for 26.00. I guess for now I'm just going have to wait for a while. I will get a dreamcast soon though but I want to find a great deal. My top game for a dreamcat will be
doa 2
crazy taxi 1 and 2
sonic adventure
street fighter alpha 3
capcom vs snk
nfl 2k2(My favorite football game today)
jet grind radio
marvel vs capcom 1 and 2
Those will be it for now. If anyone thinks I should get different games let me know. P.S I forgot SOUL CALIBUR!!!!! WTF WAS I THINKING!!!!!

Sweet ps1 finds! Wow! $40-50 for a Dreamcast!? That seems a bit expensive (unless it was being sold complete with original box packaging which i doubt). You did good holding out. A better deal will surely pop up for you with a bit of patience and some determined searching.

Thanks cd ages. The systems only had one controller and if not then people was selling just the deck only for 20.00. If the system came with games and was very clead or had a mod shell then sure. But when you get a guy that sells you a beat up dc and controller and wires are all dirty and wants to sell the wii just console only for a 100.00 nothing else with it, well the vendor has no idea
