I've been listening to Hello Nasty all morning/last night.
One of the few bands that got me into listening to music. I thank MCA's every living moment, for preventing me from listening to the garbage-music of todays youth.

Re: RIP MCA
Heard about this yesterday. Fucking awful. It really is. I can't even think of a lighter way of putting it.

Seems appropriate for this forum:

Obviously not the best remix, but not awful.

I've never found the appeal.retrosportsgamer wrote:The Coldplay cover from Friday night at the Hollywood Bowl was really classy.
Coldplay is stupid talented, but every song they put out sounds like elevator music to me. Nothing against them, and nice to play a tribute, but I couldn't make it past thirty seconds of that remix.
I think, if still alive, MCA would have appreciated the gesture but would have been rolling his eyes the entire time.
That said I know a ton of my friends will like Coldplay's rendition.
Re: RIP MCA
Have you heard the 'Beastle' remixes Luke? Some of them are solid gold.
Re: RIP MCA
Only on my laptop. I'll check it out later on an actual sound system. Thanks for the suggestion.emwearz wrote:Have you heard the 'Beastle' remixes Luke? Some of them are solid gold.
