Hey Dsh. Remember when you said they would not get even 30k?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I am one of the originals, too. Sad to say, Keiji left before Megaman Legends 3 was cancelled. That was part of the betrayal - Capcom said they'd carry on without him, only to shit can it when it was time to release the demo.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'm not quite sure a bunch of people clicking like on facebook that probably wouldn't buy the game anyway and don't own a 3DS (myself included, even though I hit like back when it was posted here for kicks) qualifies and sticking it to them. I don't think them cancelling it had much to do with the little activity on Capcom's site bit, I'm pretty sure it was just a direct response to the 3DS tanking.

I admit the fan reaction is pretty impressive, despite it not really accomplishing anything. I know my argument that this whole thing is pointless, is also pointless, but it's just hard for me to get excited about this. I love Mega Man, but unfortunately it's time to throw in the towel as far as hopes for the Blue Bomber's future go.

Accomplishing something was never the point.

I really enjoyed MML, so I've been fairly active in this group for a long while. Haven't played the second game, but part of that is because I know it left off on a really bad cliffhanger.

To people saying that clicks do not equal sales: I know you're right. However, I think there are also many people who would buy the game that haven't liked the page. Dunno if they'd balance out, but even Ghost Trick sold almost 300,000 over time (admittedly with many discounts). I have hope that it could have sold fairly well.

I agree with the people who doubt the project's future because of Inafune's departure. I wish they would have let him finish it as a contracted worker (like Ueda and The Last Guardian). Apparently they turned that down.

I bought Ghost Trick when it came out as weird sort of "thanks for MML3" thing. Still haven't played it, but I just wanted to support Capcom making more risky games. I would have bought MML3 even without a 3DS. No questions about it. I wish Capcom would change their minds.
