Have you guys played the sequel? It's pretty cool, kinda on the easy side, but a decent game.

I only just noticed this post, and it's a game I enjoy on the PS2. Hope it's not too late to submit my score? Hadn't played it for ages though so these were my first two runs tonight. My highest ever was 4453180 (stage 5-9) but I don't have a pic of that and the PS2 version doesn't have a high-score save feature (Why?!?)

Anyone else playing this?
How often do the tables get updated?
Anyone 1cc-ed it yet?

I'd like to pop it in again soon, but I've been pretty busy with so many other games.
But keep at it. Hopefully some others will discover this great game as well. (Mike? Chaz?) And no -- I have not 1CC'd, though I feel like a 1CC is actually within my grasp on this game.

I have never played this awesome-looking game, sadly. I did play Diaoh, which Shienryu is pretty much a re-vamp of, but I still need to give Shienryu a proper try.

It looks to just ooze Raiden, which is fantastic!

Sadly, my console gaming is pretty much down to a Wii, a ps2, and a DC. I suppose I could try out the Gekioh port.

I'll play any shooter that I actually have with you guys though! I'm always down to play any shootie, even if its generally reguarded as terrible

yeah dood, I have the Gekioh port for PS1. It's really cheap man. Get on that. Great game. Feels like Gunbird married to Raiden.

Anyone compared the Saturn version to the PS2? I know there's lots more game modes in the PS1 version - are they in the Sat version too? Would the Sat version be faster/harder?
