Contra Hard Corps - Brownie's Yoyo weapon
no real skill in using it but it was damaging. Of course there's the classic spread gun and homing missiles.

Gunstar Heroes - Laser gun where the lasers rebound off surfaces
fun to use

Soul Caliber - Ivy's sword/whip weapon

Doom - BFG 9000
