Weird N64 cartridge. Anyone know anything about it?

thanks for all the info but now that i know what it is i probably won't sell it. i've always wanted to dump it but never had anything to do it :(

I'm pretty sure there's actually folks who provide dumping stuff like that as a service. You send them the game, they dump it and send it back.

Either way I don't blame you for wanting to keep it. A prototype cart of any sort is always a cool piece to have in your collection.

Is there a reason prototypes are bigger than normal carts? either way that's pretty awesome, wish I could stumble upon something like this.

I wondered about this too. I can see the prototype cart housing as larger for easy identification. Maybe the prototypes has a larger PCB to accommodate regular uncompacted chips?

@ SirLukeofWales - Can you pop that cart open and post a pic of the insides?

Prototype carts tend to have larger PCBs, yeah. As for N64 ones specifically, I did pull this image from google:
