Yeah, the PC wins hands down in texture detail and resolution capabilities. That's a given since this is one of the best looking PC games on the market and the 360 is over 5 years old. But I'm surprised that some of the lighting effects on the 360 look more natural than the original PC release, and I think the 360 looks pretty comparable to a PC on medium detail settings.

My main point was how many PC elitist pointed this out as the single game that current systems couldn't handle, and that it couldn't ever run on them.

Meh, I just love seeing any kind of elitist get shot down, in a fiery inferno of "Suck it!"

*shrug* I'd point to this as an example of how pronounced the gap between Xbox and current hardware is, but I guess I'm seeing something nobody else is.

To me though, that never means current games on consoles look bad. PC's have been ahead for several years now, I've seen a lot of games running on my friends PC and the difference can be pretty insane. But still, that doesn't make the console versions unplayable to me or anything.

Dragon Age is the exception, in which case, looked like diarrhea on both platforms.

Bumpage, because I got the game.

It would have been nice if the bastards had given some kind of lead in to the game. I have no idea who the king is or why I'm with him, who the hell this Yenefer I've heard about is, how I know this dwarf and bard, and why I'm in a romantic relationship with this fiesty redhead.

Also, why can't I have stores marked on the map? I need a silver sword...

Why didn't the first game get a console release? I really wish it would have, that would have helped immensely...

I read a review when the game was released (about a year ago) and one of the first things it mentioned was that the story picked up right where the first one left off. I'd be kind of surprised if none of the 360 reviews said the same thing.

True. FUN game though, really. I've fixed a couple of my problems I have. I still really dislike all the stuff I'm missing, but methinks I might pick up the first one if I get a better computer or upgrade my computer anytime soon. But from what I understand, combat is nowhere near the same. So I dunno.

Combat in the first one is somewhat akin to a rhythm game. I enjoyed what little of it I dabbled with. Can't compare to the second one.

You sir, have made my day. Now, find me proof that Pandora's Tower is coming to the US, and I will pay you to make things magically happen in the world of gaming.

Actually, after Pandora's Tower, make Nintendo the leader of video games, ala SNES era.
