Anyone more of a sega fan than nintendo fan?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

His SEGA wall is stunning. I was distracted by it for the first few hours of the meet.

Damn, just checked the price charts, I had no clue. I've owned mine since I was a kid and always assumed it was worth about the same as Kirby's Adventure. Neat to know.

I'm more of sega fan from Genesis. I still don't own a snes console ony because I cant find particular games to make me play it. I will pass up on Street fighter, donkey kong, mario world, sports, mortal kombat. Right now I'm enjoy classic ps1 games such Xenogears, parasite eve 1 and 2, silent hill, and GRANDIA. I'm also against censored games such as snes Final Fantasy 6, Castlevania, Mortal Kombat. Funny thing is I own MK 1, 2, MKU3 for sega.

Yeah, I am example A. :P Though I took most of them down. I still have one wall covered with posters. I figured I would get frames in the future for the cool ones and hang those up. I want to avoid always using thumbtacks. Also, I downsized my Genesis collection since I never played most of them (mostly sports, a few duplicates, and several mediocre titles). I went from almost 300 boxed games to less than 100. Shocking but it had to be done for two reasons. 1) It takes up much space and I never play them. 2) Saving up to build a PC so I've been getting rid of stuff I don't need. Flash carts look promising for those expensive titles that allude me like M.U.S.H.A. anyway and it'd be easier for meetups.
What a maneuver!

Hahah wups forgot about that lol. But during the hay days of saturn psx and n64, i was luckily enough to aquire them all, but not all at once. I started with a Sega Saturn, then later after hearing news of psx i sold it. Bought a psx and got an n64 for my bday.

Out of those three console i enjoyed the N64 the most, sorry saturn i would love you more if they shipped more games from japan and euro over here.

Both great companies, but if someone put a gun to my head and made me choose, it's Sega all the way. Sega was more of a risk taking company(Sega CD, 32X), was a bit more forward thinking than Nintendo(The Dreamcast was ahead of its time), were more generally creative than Nintendo(how many damn times can a company recycle Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc.) and just had a certain very cool style that is hard to describe, but you always saw it in their games(Jet Grind Radio comes to mind).

When I was younger, Nintendo kind of seemed like the old, stubborn, traditional fogies while Sega always seemed like the cool kids with modern sensibilities, forward thinking ideas and of course, blast processing  I mean just look at their mascots. A fat, dorky, plumber with a mustache who seems eternally stuck in the eighties, and a cool hedgehog with an attitude, blazing speed, and apparently some super saiyan blood in him

Which one of those two guys is cooler?

At the end of the day though, both Nintendo and Sega have put out lots of great games and consoles that I have enjoyed. I guess I've just always liked Sega's style more though
