Who Can Read Japanese?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I know some Japanese, but names are the hardest things to interpret. I'm glad someone was able to help you out because I likely would not have been.

I am glad someone actually could help out. Makes me look the fool though...ohwell I guess it is for the best.

I wouldn't say so... Japanese is f'n hard and anyone who says otherwise is full of it or they learned growing up. :? I know about 6~700 kanji right now (plus a lot for names) and I still feel helpless here a lot of the times.
I grew up speaking 5 languages and Japanese is still hard for me. :oops:

Actually 7 languages + Japanese... I only say 5 'cause the other two are really half-assed (that and I haven't spoken French or Spanish in over 10 years). :wink:
That or Japanese is actually hard~ :roll:

Japanese is among the hardest languages to learn for native English speakers. Chinese is either slightly harder or slightly easier, depending (maybe harder to speak, easier to write). Vietnamese is probably the hardest to learn ever, period.
