custom neo geo arcade stick
Re: custom neo geo arcade stick
I once had a 6 button sega genesis pcb inside of a stick and after many months of use the pcb randomly died. I hate when the controller pcbs do that...
Re: custom neo geo arcade stick
Beautiful job! I love me a good lookin' arcade stick. Luckily it looks like your 3rd party controller had a cg. Makes wiring much easier.

Re: custom neo geo arcade stick
Beautiful work, but I was thinking buttons/switches can be wired directly since Neo sticks don't use an encoder...
Is the PS2 converter necessary?

Re: custom neo geo arcade stick
Nice job. Interesting thought on filling the holes - what bonds them to the casing though? As in, what's to stop them from just getting pushed through - the laminate covers them up obviously, but I would think just a bit of downward pressure would knock em' right on through?
Re: custom neo geo arcade stick
For the backing of the holes I glued pieces of plastic from behind (you can see this in the internal pic) and the filler sits on top of that.
As for the comment about the converter, it was the easiest for me to do it this way, plus I can use this on my ps3 neo geo games if it want (I have a usb converter also)
