Nickelodeon Party Blast (XBOX)

I got this game for free, yet still managed to feel ripped off. I wasn't expecting anything great, but at least something competent at the very least. I mean, I managed to enjoy Cartoon Network Speedway for GBA, so this couldn't be so bad...

Boy, how mistaken I was. Sloppy controls, ugly graphics, confusing mini-games - just an overall horrid experience. It's the worst thing I've played in recent memory. Even the Nick-toon licensing was destroyed by hideous character models and voice actors who differed from the ones who voiced the characters for the show.

Just a steaming puddle of urine compacted into a disc. The fact that this was also released on the Gamecube and PS2 just seems criminal. But hey, at least I got a nicer case to swap out for my Panzer Dragoon Orta! I guess there's always that.

Gonna start it off with Ikari Warriors! That game just rubs me the wrong way.

I picked a copy up for the NES not too long ago, after never having played it personally, and my gf and I had a pretty good time runnin' and gunnin' (although in all honesty I'd rather just play Guerrilla War).

The only thing that irked me was the fact that the player 1 & 2 displays kept blinking, alternating between each other. I suppose it was to provide a higher sense of action/intensity/whatever... but I just found it completely distracting. Did this also bug you?

There aren't 100 good N64 games.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

N64 is my favorite console ever, but I just don't imagine that 100 of the games are actually worth playing. Probably more like 50.

Oh come on, I've played that. It isn't...well, it IS kinda...yeah it's pretty bad.

The only game I'd probably consider worse than Big Rigs: Crazybus, a digital-download only release for the Mega Drive. AKA it was only released as a ROM.
