Ugh I knew this was going to happen. I'm getting all competitive about this, especially since I'm in second and know I can get to at least the end of Stage 5 on one credit.

Let the games begin.

But not without at least handing out some advice!

You can fully level up your ship by the end of Stage 2, and I really suggest doing that, as it can be hard to get that powered up when the game ramps up for Stage 4.

It would be a good idea to also list if TATE or not on the Saturn version. Saturn CROPPED mode throws fewer enemies at you and some boss patterns are different.

Does the US version have TATE mode? Guess i've never looked. I know Layer Section does.

It does. It doesn't say "TATE" though. It's the "Game Mode".

Is there something easier about the Saturn version or do I just suck (honestly)?

My TL2-PC settings are

Difficulty -- Normal
Lives -- 3
Extend -- 1 Million.

I am guessing the latter.

And what is TATE?
