I was hoping it would be something to go up against the 3DS and PS Vita. Guess not. I am still interested.

I think that other than saying NEOGEO on it, and looking really damn cool, it's completely pointless. It sounds like it's just a NG emulator and nothing more. Which is a lot less cool when you realize that we all already own a bunch of machines that emulate those same games and more -- both officially and unofficially.

I don't think it looks that cool tbh. It's basically just an iPhone with a shitload of buttons on it.

SD support is intriguing but at the end of the day, that's just more emulation.

Yeah, it is just a repackaged Dingoo, yeah, it looks pretty flimsy, and yeah, it can be done more easily and more conveniently on other devices, but... It's still new hardware from SNK, so yeah, I'm gonna buy it. Also, I'm a sucker for SNK's joystick nub controller.

There are four face buttons and four shoulder buttons referenced in the article (not including start/select). Why more?

I think this things looks pretty badass. But it would need to be open source so that some other third party development can be done on it. If that was the case, I would be possibly interested in letting be my GP2X's new best friend.
