It shouldn't take long at all. You can even blot it dry with a lint free cloth.sabrage wrote: Belt is drying as we speak, should it be pretty obvious when it's done or should I give it a couple hours to be safe?

It's working! My 360 is fully operational! Thanks for the tips guys, I'll make another post when I've got a T20 to open my OXbox up. Quick poll - if I plan on opening the OXbox up again in the future to mod it, but also possibly plan on selling it sometime down the line, should I punch right through the stickers on the bottom or peel them back and try to preserve them? Also, how the heck do I remove the rubber feet without making it impossible to put them back on?

I made a tool to cut holes for the screws in mine.

If you carefully peel them off you might be able to stick them back on ok. Else some double sided scotch tape or perhaps a little rubber cement will do.

I made that tool to stick in my hand drill. Had pulled one foot off so I knew how wide the hole had to be and where the screw was. Then just went very slow cutting the hole.

Finally worked around to attempting to fix my OXbox today.. I don't possess Hobie's tool-smithing skills, clearly, so I just used an x-acto knife to cut around the screws. I think that the belt is just too brittle to fix, so I'll be ordering a new one eventually.
Surprised how cramped the OXbox is on the inside... Overall it just doesn't seem like a very well-built console, but this is the only problem mine has so that may be a little unfair.
