Imaginarium isn't available in America? That's weird. Well, I buy music from a foreign site anyway, so I didn't notice. I have it now. Really good! Nice pick.

Yeah, for some reason it won't be available in the states until January of next year I think
It really is a great album isn't it? I was very impressed

I've bought lots of songs and albums this year, but I can only think of two that were released in 2011.
First is Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark, the Original Broadway Cast Recording to the hit Broadway adaptation of the popular comic book franchise. Some of my fave tracks are "Rise Above 2", "If the World Should End", "The Boy Falls From the Sky", "DIY World", "Sinistereo" and "A Freak Like Me Needs Company".
The second is the latest Abney Park album, their unplugged Off the Radar album. It's based in part on an April's Fools joke about Captain Robert starting a country band called "Ranchhand Robbie and the Wasteland Wranglers". In this album, there's a mix of new songs and unplugged versions of AP faves like "Aether Shanties" and "The Wrong Side" (my fave pre-steampunk AP track) and "To the Apocalypse in Daddy's Sidecar".
And it turns out that Abney Park is putting out a novel set in the post-apocalyptic steampunk work from their albums.

Once again, I only bought a few things that were actually released this year. I did pick up a fair number of 2010 items and a ton of older stuff (179 total apparently). I guess the 4 all win by default.
Beardyman - I Done a AlbumVery nice mix of stuff from a cool beatboxer. It appears the video for this song has been taken down, but the song is very cool. All beatboxing and processed vocal noises.
Where does your mind go?Professor Elemental - More Tea?This is more or less a remix collection of chap hop stuff, but still, is new.
Scorn - YozzaLovely throbbing new EP from Mick Harris.
Shake HandsAxe Gabba Murda Mob – UK Hardcore - Chapter: 01A mix of hardcore deathchant madness.
Boost the Dose, a tune in the middle of the disc.

Lupe Fiasco's Lasers was by far my favorite album of 2011. That album was pure gold. Was really disappointed with his last album The Cool, but Lasers more than made up for it.

awesome! I've been listening to a lot of Lupe Fiasco myself lately. Though I've only heard a few tracks off of this one. He's awesome though.

I've listened to plenty of music this year, but the only album I know for sure was released this year was Childish Gambino's Camp. I love that album, in fact I'm listening to it right now. (for like the 2nd time today)

oh dude, I just heard some of this a week ago and my mind was blown. Childish Gambino is definitely someone I plan to get into hard core ASAP.

noiseredux wrote:^good list bud. I forgot that Raekwon came out this year. Kept meaning to get it. The Mobb Deep sounds appealing too.
Thanks man. You'll probably like them
