The Modesto Game Exchange sells ridiculously overpriced video games, and they sell purses in the same store.

The animal cages are in the back of the store, maybe used to store the illegal animals that they sell, as there is no way theyd be open if the business was legit.

Maybe they have monthly bills coming up and don't have the buffer to take those in just in case they don't sell enough to comfortable cover a bill in the next few days. I think I'd rather hear that they're not taking stuff in right now instead of being offered pocket change too. There are much worse things that could have ruined your day or you could have received an insulting offer. Seems more like first world problems to me.

1. They same game that I sold once before about a year ago was metroid prime trilogy and I wanted to sell metroid prime trilogy today to finish christmas shopping for my kids.
2. They bought crusader of centy for the sega genesis and they were selling it for 100.00 and yes it sold rather quick

Fair enough. I just don't see why you'd be so upset at a store not wanting to buy the games even if they told you "I'm sorry, that game is too purple for my hot dog". Would you start writing off people in BST here for not buying something you had up for sale?

hobie-wan i was trying to sell popular first party games for the wii. They don't have them in their inventory and one of them was metroid trilogy. If I was selling them nfl and bases loaded and I wanted 50.00 for each then I would understand. But It wasn't like they wasn't going to make money off of me. I have been selling them great and hard to find stuff for almost 5 years now and I have been a customer for 20 years. You dont treat a customer like that. I'm in retail and If I had made a rude comment the way he said it to me all arrogant and then I would have been fired.

Im not yelling at you hobie, But I just felt like I was at gamestop lol that's all. Now I 'm just going to worry about the gym and beat everything I own and actually play these games. Plus it will give me a chance to save money

Lol, if yoy are ever in Modesto, visit the store I mentioned. It'll make you realize how lucky you are.

^honestly, I've never found "mom n pop" stores to be any less shady than Gamestop. Maybe that's just been my own experiences. And maybe that's why I have a much higher tolerance for GS than many of you.
