The GG hardware was slightly better than the SMS, just very similar. That's why SMS games will work on a GG with an adapter, but the reverse isn't possible.

I always thought Batman Returns was a really good looking game for GG. I also loved the gameplay. It had terrific grappling hook/swinging action. The music and sound effects are pretty good as well for GG.
