I think it's great. Though I'm kind of confused why it's on 360 but not PS3.

We've only gotten a few compilations on PS3 in the US, but there's others in other regions.

Are any of the titles listed not on PSN?

Noise, you really need to look into getting a 360 and get over your whole aversion to adding another console:

There's also a ton of great XBLA exclusives...all of these which can be enjoyed on a US console without ever paying a dime for Live.

Oh, and you can buy a used 360 these days for under $150. You could probably sell a few games and easily raise the dough :)

don't you know me well enough yet? Remember the time you said I should get a PS3 and I was like "oh no way man. Not me man. No way."? I'm not ruling out a 360 forever. I just don't want another console right now.

Yeah. They should really add the first Bionic Commando Rearmed game to this collection.

...and where is Mega Man 9 & 10?

Just my guess, but I think they are going to withhold MM9 and MM10 until they are ready to do another Megaman Anthology.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

that's what I figured too. MM is enough of a name to sell on its own rather than just be part of another collection.

I managed to snag a new copy of this off of Amazon (seller fulfilled through Amazon so bonus free shipping) for $30 tonight after playing 1942 and looking at the the value of the entire collection.

It is kind of a downer that the first BC Rearmed isn't on there but the 2nd one goes for $15 (points equivalent) right now on XBLA.

I'm going to try to hold out for a 50% off Capcom sale to get the first (right now it's $10).

Glad to have the SF II and Puzzle Fighter HD versions archived on a hard copy also.

An excellent purchase retrosportsgamer! I'm waiting for this compilation disc 360 title to drop to at least $25 before i decide to jump in for one.
