"What a scam!"
-_-

Sorry, I don't see the scam here.

I came across one that did have a manual, but there aren't many that aren't labeled as re-sealed or sealed. Perhaps he's buying "like new" items, re-sealing them himself and trying to flip them for more money?

I really don't get the frenzy over getting a sealed game or making a new Thread every time you see another sealed game EBay auction. Any purchase online from a complete stranger is a risk, older games are very unlikely to be Factory Seals. For all you know the "Sealed" case can have just packing material inside

It's possible this guy wasn't the one who resealed them.

In Mint NM condition with all original paperwork and all inserts and bag. I re-wapped this myself and everything is included and in almost perfect shape.
Since it is not a factory seal, it could help protect it a bit in shipping, but is mostly pointless and seems like they're relying on someone just looking at the pictures instead of actually reading to boost the price.

I don't see how this was worth the final bid unless people thought it was factory sealed.

Yes people should read the description carefully, but this seems like "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" to me.

I don't have a problem with this. They didn't read the title or description at all, so they have no one to blame but themselves.

That fact that all of these pictures appear to be taken in the exact same place, same angle, same time, same purple window reflection, leads me to believe that something bullshitty may be going on here.

You've misconstrued my intentions.

I've only made two threads, the other one was to see if a game's seal was authentic, I made the thread hoping to learn something about Genesis seal jobs...and I did. I was also hoping to haggle the guy down if I could identify that the game was re-sealed. I have no intention of buying sealed games otherwise, I was only interested in this seller's Shining Force II (which is not sealed). I play all of the games I buy, so a seal is worthless to me, but for a game like McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure, it's hard to find one in mint condition, so a small premium for a sealed game is not a big deal - so long as it's not exorbitantly expensive. In both threads you've felt the need to be sanctimonious about sealed games...really not necessary. :?

This is why I don't bother with sealed games, 1 their prices and 2 the amount of scammers.

I saw this listing form this guy for a NOT FOR RESALE sonic 1. Was this game ever sealed to begin with?

Wasn't that bundled in to genesis systems?
