I don't like South Park very much at all (watched the whole 1st season, but I never felt comfortable with it), but this really does sound interesting. I'll keep a close eye on this one.

The first season is not the best season to get an idea of how the show is as a whole. The first season was much more juvenile and focused more on shock value. While there are several gems in the second season, it wasn't until the third season that the show really hit its stride. So I'd recommend you check out some episodes from later in the show's run to form an opinion of it. Granted, it might still make you uncomfortable, but at least you'll have seen what the show really is like.

Crud. When I heard Obsidian was going to be making an RPG based off a popular animated series, South Park was the last thing I was hoping for. I kinda wanted Adventure Time. I don't like South Park, so this is a no-go.

While there are several gems in the second season, it wasn't until the third season that the show really hit its stride. So I'd recommend you check out some episodes from later in the show's run to form an opinion of it. Granted, it might still make you uncomfortable, but at least you'll have seen what the show really is like.

And that's pretty much true for most shows.

I guess I would be willing to give it another shot. I always feel like I was missing something when I watched it before, so maybe I was just watching the wrong season.

Something about third seaons, it's when a lot shows start really kicking ass and firing on all cylinders

I was a big South Park fan once, but lost interest when it got to the point where I felt like Matt and Trey were crossing some lines I wasn't comfortable with(like ignoring the "too soon" rule in making fun of dead people)

However, one area where licensed games haven't really done well historically is comedies. Most of the really good licensed fare is in comic book stuff, so I might support this if it turns out good. It's a step in the right direction for gaming in general if it turns out to be a good game. We've haven't had any truly stand out games in this area before despite attempts with Futurama, The Simpsons, and South Park itself(unless you count that decent Tower Defense game)
