XSeed publishing this intrigued me also. Here you have the guys doing Y's games and lesser known RPG games......and then Wii Fishing Resort.

Anxiously awaiting a couple more pro reviews. It wouldn't take much to push me to buy this one. Xseed also brought us the fabulous Little Kings Story.

Hilarious!!!

EDIT,

Annnnnnd. OK. Bought. I'll forgo more reviews and hand wringing and take a 20 dollar chance on my gut. Xseed has seen more of my money recently via Trails in the Sky, Little King Story and Sky Crawlers. Cool! :D

I must say that I like the design of that fishing rod shell. :)

Are there any other Wii fishing games that the shell might work well with?

I'm buying this to support Prope, so hopefully Rodea gets localized.

The only other fishing game I see that looks interesting is Sega Bass Fishing. Maybe it'll be compatible?

Never heard of Rodea until now. It looks like NiGHTS, Sonic Adventure, and Mario Galaxy all in one. I hope we get it!

I wanted to buy this game with the fishing controller shell... until they made it for Right Handed people only. :(

Edit: Just found out that you can remove the cap and unscrew the reel mechanism and attach it to the other side! Woot! Thanks XSEED!

This looks great. I remember watching this trailer a long time ago on the Minna no Nintendo channel on the Wii.

How many great Japanese games failed to come out in the USA? It's really sad. Earth Seeker is another one that comes to mind.
