Is anyone else surprised at the lack of DC fan translations?

I liked Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream quite a bit when I played it and I don't think there's a translation for that. It's kinda like Sonic Adventure with a central town hub but quirkier/weirder and the levels are fun 2.5D platforming segments.

There's also potential architecture differences that can make DC translations more challenging than the equivalent SNES translation. From following the SFIII translation project it's clear that the Saturn is much more difficult to rom hack compared to the SNES.

It's very easy to play in Japanese. I'd say give it a try, it's a good game.

Someome tried to put the english text into the dreamcast version. I believe they said the text boxes were blank though. They were going to try some other things, but I have not heard anything more about it.

i burned Sorcerian years ago and i wouldn't mind playing that translated, looked interesting. some kind of action/rpg or maybe just jrpg. couldn't tell cause i couldn't understand the text to get out of the opening village.lol

The DOS version is in English... It's still awesome. But yeah, the DC version kicks ass. Hell, most of the versions are awesome.

i just youtubed the dos version, i really didn't know much about the series. to say the dc version was an upgrade would be an understatement.
