Re: Systems you don't like.
I hate the N64. It's terrible in my honest opinion. I can't think of a single game that interests me on it. I also fail to see the desire for the TurboGrafx, but I don't hate it.

On the contrary to all you, I love the N64!
Rare also happens to be my favorite developer, so that would explain that... simply masterpieces on the N64 IMO. For someone who doesn't like 3D platformers though, it does look like a barren wasteland.
Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Star Fox 64, Goldeneye, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, DK64, Super Mario 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Conker's Bad Fur Day, etc etc etc ...the N64 houses my favorite games ever, so of course it is my favorite console!
To each his own.

I suppose that depends how into racing games and FPS you are. There's plenty of those too. And a solid number of good puzzle games come to think of it.

the original XBox. incredibly small number of worthwhile exclusives, and just an ugly system as a whole. Not sure if I'd count the Jaguar, 3DO, or CD-i. I'd actually have to care about those systems to dislike them.

I agree. I'd also like to add that the controller is a complete monstrosity.
N64 definitely ruined Mario and Zelda, IMO.

Re: Systems you don't like.
I wouldn't say N64 blows. And I wouldn't say I hate it. But it is one console I've never been a fan of. SM64 does nothing for me. Ocarina is my least favorite Zelda. Really, the only game on N64 I enjoyed was Mario Kart 64, but I liked Double Dash more.
Re: Systems you don't like.
Of all the systems I put the most hours on, my least favorite is the Game Gear. That could be from limited experience, though. I never had many games for it, and nothing on it ever absolutely blew me away like at least a few have on each system.

Finally, someone who understands me.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
