Castlevania is known for slow moving Belmonts, but you're right this is terribly slow. The one thing I really like about it tho is that if you time yourself just right, you and your whip line up perfectly with the music.

I actually just fired up the game on my Game Boy Player and played through the first stage to check that out since I hadn't noticed it before and the walking animation lines up surprisingly well. :lol:

I don't know if anyone has noticed it before - I've been meaning to make a video showing it, but now that I've blurted it out here I have extra incentive to do so. :P
