Skyward Sword and Fortune Street are both Wii titles that I'm looking forward to.

I think just a lot of folks who loved the original X-COM games are really upset about the new direction of this one.[/quote]
Oh absolutely,The original is a Cult classic Im being optimstic.Im hoping the hardcore strategy elements are still there just more in a live action sense and perspective.original X-Com is a beast but we can only pray for miracles.

Aww, did not noticed Vita got pushed to Q1 2012. Well, fits for this forums.
Looking for the the PS Vita and it's launch lineup.

I loved the psp for the Y's series, cant wait to see what pulls me to the Vita.
As mostly retro gamers here its intresting to see what current/nex-gen stuff that pulls us in.Cause we can be so non-typical.

You just watch Nintendo announce an HD version of Skyward Sword as a launch title for the Wii U.

Doubt it, I don't think the art style would transfer very well into HD. In fact, I believe I read somewhere they went with Skyward's style due to the fact the Wii is very limited in the graphics department.AppleQueso wrote:You just watch Nintendo announce an HD version of Skyward Sword as a launch title for the Wii U.
Older. Not wiser.

For me, portable RPGs are the clear winner. I rarely have time to be able to sit down in one place for 2+ hours to make progress on an rpg. Not to mention 'Standby' mode is a godsend. Always dreamed of a way to pause a game and continue elsewhere

Idk, Wind Waker looks pretty damn nice in HD via emulators and whatnot so I can't imagine Skyward Sword looking bad at all.
Whether it happens at launch or not though I think HD remakes on Wii U are kinda inevitable.

What happend with Twight light Princess, did it come out on Gamecube and Wii at the sametime or rather apart? It seems like a weird move just come out with one or the other.AppleQueso wrote:Idk, Wind Waker looks pretty damn nice in HD via emulators and whatnot so I can't imagine Skyward Sword looking bad at all.

My list:
Xenoblade Chronicles (Not released yet)
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Not yet)
Professor Layton and the Spectre's Flute (Plan to get soon)
Super Mario 3D Land (Yes)
Mario Kart 7 (Yes)
Starfox 64 (Yes)
Bit.Trip Saga (Yes)
King of Fighters XIII (Not yet)
So I got most of what I planned. I'm now interested in Lolipop Chainsaw, Mario Tennis Open, The Last Story, Resident Evil:Revelations, Starhawk, and Phantom Breaker.
