Should be more than sufficient. So you can go with that...RazorX wrote:what voltage 47 uF capacitor

And no, I don't think a LED is really necessary. But they cost virtually nothing, so just add one...

Dude, seriously, a little effort won't hurt you. Google is your friend. Just google 'circuit symbols' and you will already find most of the symbols you need. Google and common sense, that's all you need. You're a big boy, you can do it...

Re: DC Coders Cable SD Mod Help?
As far as I can tell that is correct... ^^
The best thing you can do is make the printboard as the one below. I think it's the easiest way to do this mod. The red dots on the printboard are the places where you have to cut the trace. On the printboard you can also see they use pin 8 on the Dreamcast side as the ground for both capacitors. FYI, you don't have to connect pin 3 and 8 on the Dreamcast side and connect them to a ground (same for the 2 VSS ground points on the SD card side). The schematic (in the link) only wants to show you those 2 points are actually grounds themselves. You can also see on the printboard they connect ground pin 3 (Dreamcast) to ground pin 3 (SD card) and ground pin 8 (Dreamcast) to ground pin 6 (SD card). Ground pins are interchangeable, but I don't see any reason why you should mess with the print in the example. I think it's perfect just the way it is...

Re: DC Coders Cable SD Mod Help?
thank you i understand now what goes were how and why just a one other question, those ground pins i think you called them can you use wire instead if you need to aslong as you cut the circuit board connections were it says cut them and if im not mistaken that green line represents a wire to?
