While you'll have to trade a form of currency (be it coin, paper, or a couple chickens) for a copy, you can still play it.

Uh, maybe because it's download-only?
You can play Wii Ware games and demos with the original DS through your Wii, why not do it this way?

But wait, can I play this single player? I don't know anyone else who has a 3DS/DSi. Everyone is fine with their DS Lites.

Word is that a single player update is going to be added.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

From what I heard they're making it playable in single player and adding in new content.

Did they ever officially say that this is the GBA Four Swords and not a new one?
Either way I have my DSiXL and 3ds ready the day it drops. Four Swords Adventure on the Gamecube is one of my favorite games of all time. And since I love to post the video:
