Virtual console vs a N64 cart or GC disc that can be played years from now.

The European release doesn't have any problems with crashing. I would speculate that the reason for this was possibly that rumble can't be used.AppleQueso wrote:Is that so? I've personally never ran into the crashes so I'm just kinda going off of what everyone else has said, but I know I certainly ran into a TON of slowdown.emwearz wrote:I am pretty sure the crashing issues in MM on the Gamecube can be solved by turning off the rumble feature.AppleQueso wrote:Best thing to get is just buy them on the n64. Preferrably the gold cart for OOT...
...but if you're just asking between Wii and Gamecube releases, well... I think the wii version of OOT is more or less identical to the gamecube one. Majora's Mask on the gamecube had a lot of slowdown and was prone to crashing, I don't know if the VC version fixes these problems or not.

Sorry, I don't quite get what you're getting at... VC is fine as long as your Wii is. N64 is fine as long as the system is and the cart battery is (throw in controller sticks too). The GC in the same boat.CRTGAMER wrote:Another consideration

So~~~
(FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

There's also price considerations. Having done absolutely no research, I would say the VC is the cheapest option. I believe the GC combo discs are sort of rare and sought after, idk I got mine when they came out. The carts also hold their value I believe.
