That was amazing. Totally emphasis what I'm talking about with Sonic CD, heh.

Is that still an unplayable level in Megamix or something? I definitely don't remember it when I played it a few months ago.

I thought Misty Maze Zone was gorgeous, used a backdrop from one of the Sonic CD special stages (the secret one I believe), heh:

EDIT

Yeah this is how I remember Starry Night Zone:

Yeah, it's the latest version, still in progress. No one's actually played anything from this version yet, and as far as I know the new Starry Night is the only part of it they've shown off.

I can't freaking wait to play it personally. If the rest of the game gets as much attention as Starry Night did for the redesign, it's gonna be amazing.

As long as were on good looking Genesis games. Lightening Force, Comix Zone, and Dynamite Headdy are 3 of my favorite games graphically on the system.

If you want to blow away some SNES fanboy friends show em Vectorman. That'll shut them up.

Add Shinobi III there for me and we're in business!

@CFFJR: I just wish they didn't have the homing attack in Megamix, but oh well. lol, still fun as heck. Can't wait to play later versions.

That's essentially what it was created for.

...can't you turn the homing attack off in Megamix anyhow? I seem to recall it being in the options menu.

Yes, you can. It's in the preferences menu. It makes the control scheme identical to Sonic 1's. That's how I play it usually.

Dynamite Headdy was already mentioned. Ristar looks pretty snazzy as well.
What a maneuver!
