Check my blog for the parts list. It's a kit from North Coast Custom.

Re: My Game Room
Just curious, what specifically made you decide to replace the WEGA? Did you try an RGB to component transcoder with it?
Re: My Game Room
The geometry and convergence sucked. Granted, I didn't decase and dial it in. Plus I got 2 PVM-3230's for $50. That sealed it.dogman91 wrote:Just curious, what specifically made you decide to replace the WEGA? Did you try an RGB to component transcoder with it?
I don't like to transcode if I can help it. I'm glad I replaced the TV, because the RGB signal is discernably better than component, at least for PS2 and Xbox.

Looks like it'll be the start of something mad groovy, brah! I really like your X-Men vs. Street Fighter cab as well! That's up there as one of my favorite games of all time.

Re: My Game Room
You mentioned picking up an MVS next. Anyone here have any experience with the MVS multicarts? I've heard complaints of screen freezes and sound being out of sync, but for $100, I'm willing to overlook that to an extent.daskrabs wrote:diesel_dan wrote:emwearz wrote:I LOVE that Neo Geo table top.quote]

Re: My Game Room
I don't have one, and haven't used one. However, I'd say that as long as you don't expect every game to work perfectly, I'd say it's a good buy. You can always sell it. I hear the 161 carts should be used in 2-slot or higher, and the 138's with the daughterboard should be 1-slot only.shallowgamer wrote:You mentioned picking up an MVS next.
