brings up a good point -- are there any that are especially hard to find complete or that fetch a pretty penny? I know NCAA 2k3 was crazy bank on GCN, but that was NCAA not NBA.

When I talked to the first buyer back in October, he told me he'd never part with it - even though he'd been offered $1,000 for the disc, multiple times. "I could be the only person in the world to have every single EA Sports NBA game," he said at the time. "That's really exciting to me."

Lol - that's actually not me.

The most expensive is probably John Madden '93 Championship Edition - which was a rental store only release. Finding it complete is probably a couple hundred.

Anything mass produced by EA isn't worth much. I thought at one time that NCAA Basketball '10 was going to be worth something as Amazon had it overpriced a year + after release. It was the last college hoops game by any company for any system. You can get it new for $30 + shipping still. I wouldn't mind finding the original NBA Live or the original Lakers vs Celtics complete for the PC.

Here's one - NBA Jam T.E. for the Playstation (long box). I saw that at a game show and they wanted $30 for it. It goes for $20+ on ebay.

Whew! I thought for a second you included Shaq-Fu in that collection only to find out it was NBA Hoopz.

Hey remember that girl named Hoopz from Flava of Love? Nope. Neither do I.

I don't know who Hoopz is, but I know you could play as Flava Flav in Rap Jam vol 1

I think Shaq-Fu has been in every SNES lot I've ever bought. Man that is a tough game to avoid.

Good luck hunting what will be your gaming Holy Grail...NBA Elite '11 for PS3. ($1000-$2,500) Ultra rare as only a few copies floating around, as it was canceled....be warned if you find it and pay for it, remember there is a reason it was canceled...it's pretty awful, but still...it would be the king of all crown jewels for an NBA game collector.

Those early EA Sports games were great, maybe I missed it but do you have Team USA Basketball for Genesis? That game was fun...and may I suggest adding Shaq Fu...lol...and Space Jam (I think they made a game, I could be wrong)

Great Collection. I'm working on a sports/wrestling collection myself.

also...White Men Can't Jump (Jaguar), :D

scrolling back through some of the posts, it looks like I was a bit late to the party as NBA Elite '11 and Shaq Fu were already mentioned.
