Is this coming to Europe though? They got the Japanese soundtrack as well, so this definitely sounds like it could be a weird case.
I really have no preference myself, I love both OST's... but having the option to play with either would be pretty amazing.

Re: Sonic CD coming to xbla
I guess the question that comes to my mind is this:
Is there any precedence for a game on XBLA having both a Japanese and an American soundtrack option?

Not that I'm aware of, no.samsonlonghair wrote:I guess the question that comes to my mind is this:

The counter to your question though is that Sonic CD would probably mark the first time such a thing might be considered in the first place.
Do you know any other games (in general) that have a completely different soundtrack between two regions?

I only know this as I played it recently: Shinobi X (Europe) on the Saturn. It has a different soundtrack compared to the Japanese and US versions.CFFJR wrote: Do you know any other games (in general) that have a completely different soundtrack between two regions?

Hold it why not wii or ps3 psn. How about SEGA CD Mega Collection for a reasonable price, instant purchase right next to sega saturn collection. I can still dream.
Holy crap Xbox got the Dreamcast Collection and ps3 gets nothing. wikipedia: "All games released in the bundle are additionally soon to be available for purchase separately on the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam.[1] It is was originally listed for release on the Playstation 3 but has not been released on Playstation 3 as of August 2011 for unknown reasons."
What the hell xbox or sega

The Gran Turismo series, tends to have licensed songs be different by region. (list here)CFFJR wrote:Not that I'm aware of, no.samsonlonghair wrote:I guess the question that comes to my mind is this:

It wouldn't surprise me to see other licensed music tracks on games differ like that, to account for regional tastes.

XBLA is so stacked compared to PSN and the Wii's store.

It's one of the few areas the 360 surpasses the PS3. If they would just make a PS3 that could access XBLA, I'd be set.ZenErik wrote:XBLA is so stacked compared to PSN and the Wii's store.

Awesome! I never played Sonic CD, except maybe on an emulator.
