I like that guide. I used it on my JP Wii and it worked pretty well. I used Mauifrog's guide for my US Wii (JP one died of pixelitis) and that one is more thorough and made better IMO.flamepanther wrote:In my opinion, this is the best, safest, and most complete guide I've come across. They need to update it to recommend cIOS D2X instead of Waninkoko's older stuff, but it's otherwise flawless.

That marks like the third or fourth guide I've bookmarked for when I get a Wii again.
Can't wait to buy one and hack it instantly!

No matter what guide you use, back up your NAND in case something goes wrong in the more in depth hacking part.Xeogred wrote:That marks like the third or fourth guide I've bookmarked for when I get a Wii again.

The one flamepanther put up, http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/ is good and I've used it before but, this one, http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faq ... y-wii.html , is so damn streamlined, so well made, and completely thorough, you'd have to half-ass it to mess up your Wii.
The first one is good, but I 100% recommend the second one.
