Fallout 3 GOTY Random Pauses

Well, I guess one of the things you could do to improve the freezing is save over a brand new slot, instead of overwriting. Not sure what it does, but people say it can help smooth out the freezes and glitches.

I did this once when I started running into more glitches, and I felt it did help smooth things over a little bit. Of course, won't completely fix things, but worth a shot.

Finally done everything i think i want to do in fallout.. No idea how they could make a game that would pause for 1 second SO many times in the 80 hours i put into it.... Maybe it really is my Xbox....

I just bought Perfect Dark XBLA and Vanquish. Vanquish seems fine but now Perfect dark is doing the same thing.. *sigh*.. way less then fallout and it's really only when you change weapons.. Maybe 1 in every 5 changes the game will lock up for a full 1 or 2 seconds.

To bad i bought it unopened but not from a store (free xbox with laptop = tons of cheap ones on CL type sites) so i cant exchange and find out for sure lol

Can anyone with perfect dark on the xbox play through the first level and change weapons way more then you normally would and see if theirs does anything strange? lol

*sigh* I just beat portal 2 without problems.. went out and bought portal one (Orange Box). It's doing the same super annoying random 1 second pauses :'(

Guess i'll go buy a new 360 :'(
