Easy, as I watch them both right now the parody is definitely better than the real piece of garbage commercial.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on with the PSP. When I look through game database sites (like GameFAQs), I see tons of JRPGs that look right up my alley. But.... when I go into an actual store that sells PSP games, I'm greeted by an incredibly tiny selection of sports games, racing games, army man shooters, and other crap.

As for learning Japanese... I work with Japanese exchange students and would say I'm "so-so" at reading/speaking the language. I STRONGLY recommend Human Japanese software. It's about 1/10th the price of Rosetta Stone and a much better program. Also, the Let's Learn Hirigana/Katakana/Kanji books are must-haves (check Amazon for all this shiz). (These suggestions apply to people attempting to learn the language on their own, if you can find a teacher or some other assistance, you'll have a MUCH easier time!)

For Western people, English is not too hard, compared to other languages. I know I ought to speak only for myself, but that's what I hear most people saying (there are a few other non-natives on the board who would say the same thing, I reckon).

English is pretty simple, as most forms of inflection are eliminated (for instance, most nouns are gender neutral, adjectives don't inflect for number, verbs mostly don't change depending on the pronouns, and so on).

The difficult part of English is pronunciation, since it doesn't seem to follow any rules (in Romance languages, and in Japanese excluding kanji, as I understand), if you read a word, you at least have a pretty good idea how it is pronounced. In English it doesn't matter at all.

(Also, to me specifically, learning present perfect was hard, since there isn't a verb tense in my language that corresponds to it.)

I have to be honest, I have no idea what you guys are talking about with squirrels.
