I've never tried it, but I've been told it doesn't work. The Wii's MIOS for GameCube games doesn't tell the system how to connect to WiFi or use a USB port for a USB Ethernet adapter.

I looked into this once, and my understanding is -- NO, because a Wii in GameCube mode is just a GameCube looking for a GameCube BBA. It doesn't know how to use any of the Wii's hardware.

Ahh, that make sense. In any case, I do have a BBA so I'll be willing to try an online MKDD session.

Thanks for the info. I will have to try to get the internet connection working. I haven't used my wall outlet in my media center yet since I've been using wireless (wii/PS3). I'll try to work on it in the next week or 2.

I would definitely be down for this. Hopefully we can get a few other people interested in it as well. I believe its better if we organize a time, that way we can all play with one another.

I might be interested. I'll have to move a small TV, but I've got MK:DD, Air Ride, and a BBA.

There is also a gc homebrew program that supports playing a few games online by sending controller inputs over the internet. http://www.fuzziqersoftware.com/projects.php The site also has pc tools for setting up PSO servers it seems.

I have no idea how well that stuff works.
