You could do something unique with the tri-force. Put your own 3 symbols that mean the most to you in it?
Re: Gamer Tattoos?

perhaps an 8 bit simon belmont tossing a boomerang??
dunno, i have no tats and i'm in the "it's just a fad" group too. i'm not sure how my wife would react if i came home with a gaming tattoo...

I'm pretty sure it's all been done.
My 2 cents, if there's nothing in YOUR mind that means enough to you to to permanently stick it on yr body, then probably you don't need a tattoo.

The problem with tattoos is that they're permanent. It's one thing if you could wear it for a period of time until you're tired of it and then remove it.
Have you ever seen anyone with an old tattoo that still looks good?

Saw this old dude with a dragon covering his entire back. I thought it still looked pretty sweet, but not something I would do to myself.
My problem with the "they don't look good when your old" arguement is, "what does look good when its old?"
I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna be worrying about my wrinkled old skin, no matter what color it is, when I'm 80. I also have no tattoos, but I just have not been able to find something that I would want on me for that long.
I don't think its a fad though, considering how traditional tattoos are in a lot of cultures (although of course those are entirely different styles of tattoos generally, I would hardly call it a fad still)

Sigh. I expected a response like this.
Damn you common sense!

Not old enough to make any tattoos she might have look bad?

Re: Gamer Tattoos?
I have long hair, a ear piercing and a wardrobe full of non Abercrombie clothing. I have maybe one polo for occasions. Everything is not what is typically thought of some kid's dad. I dont intend on changing. Like my gaming. I have older siblings who're still rocking in what most consider their middle age. My dad is still gigging and hanging out in retirement. Life is what you make of it and numerical age is literally just a number. Most of you will be all grown up but that doesnt mean you have to stop doing things you enjoy because of what society dictates. Think about it: Everything you enjoy is one day mocked and ridiculed by a bunch of younger kids on the internet because its not what they consider cool. Even the most cutting edge awesomeness today will eventually become fodder for trolls tomorrow.
